Our Crew

Meet the heart & soul of Coastal Canvas...for a small custom shop of 3 employees & Tony...we all work together as a team to serve you, the most important of all, our clients.

*Mike Peacock came to us from Nashville, TN. He left the likes of such clients as Alan Jackson, Eddie Arnold, etc. to share his vast knowledge of all things canvas  to live on the Gulf. Lucky us! He has  vast upholstery experience, & can do any canvas job from start to finish...his artistry using Makrolon glass is second to none. Mike also knows every joke in the book...don't get him started...he loves to entertain!

*Rick Dobson is our upholstery geru. He came to us from So Carolina & had much experience in the automotive upholstery industry. Boat seats may have more 'parts' he says, but the transition has made for many happy clients as he meticulously gives absolute detail to each part. His before & after 'make-overs' speak volumes as to his knowledge & sincere caring about your finished product , comfort & design. Oh yes...& the nicest guy you will ever deal with in this business!

*Melissa Johnson. Resident Mermaid, ex rodeo cowgirl, office manager of CCOP. In a short 6 years, I have been blessed to find an industry I never dreamed of being so passionate about...marine canvas & upholstery.  And even better...in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico bayside city of Pensacola. With a great teacher (Tony), the learning never stops, but my favorite part of all is YOU...our clients. I prefer to call you all my new friends...because we in the boating community are like friends & family rolled into one. I understand how important your vessel is to you...from the first time we speak, until the job is complete, I strive to make sure that all of your needs are met & your boat is the envy of all the waterways!  Thank you, & we sincerely appreciate your confidence in us here at

Coastal Canvas of Pensacola. Ahoy!

*And last but not least...

*Tony...The Canvas Sensay, Our Boss, the man with the dream....

Tony has lived all over the world proudly serving in the USAF , Active & Reserves, for 34 years. Once home, he followed his degree from FSU to Ford Motor Credit. With that business savvy, in 1993, he joined his brother-in-law in partnership starting Coastal Canvas in Gulf Breeze, FL. Tony had found his true passion. In 2011, he formed his own canvas business across the Bay in Pensacola. He found the perfect location, brought great employees with him & the rest is history. If you know Tony, I can stop right here...if you don't, then stop on in, he loves to chat about everything...& you will make a friend. And if you own a boat...well, he is a great friend to have indeed!  Let's just hope he never "retires"  or there will be a lot of naked boats out there!  Cheers!

*The Real Bosses of CCOP...

We had to include the cutest members of the family of course!

Roxie & Walter...& yes...they are a couple of 'Old  Pirate Salts'!  Aaarrghhh!
